WHAT TO SEE

The Special Protection Area (SPA) of Castro Verde,  with around 85000ha, is the more representative steppe area of Portugal (aproximately 60000ha  of pseudo-steppe).

This area, known as White Field, is an example of a European agro-ecossistem of great environmental value, that results from the interaction of Man (farmer) with the Environment.
